Gardeners' Friday

Take the gardeners' route through breathtaking Suffolk countryside and wander round carefully chosen gardens from Easter to the end of September: The Leaping Hare (Wyken), The Lucy Redman Garden, Rushbrooke, The Walled Garden at Langham Hall and Langham Herbs.  Visit specialist shops and relax in selected cafes.

Wideham Farm Equestrian Centre

Wideham Farm hosts our new purpose-built facility incorporating the old re-built barn and stables.
It is set in 47 acres of light free draining soil and offers wonderful hacking in the forest all year round with direct access to Kings Forest and Icknield Way and so absolutely no roadwork!

West Stow Hall

West Stow Hall is an historic 16th century privately run bed and breakfast with 2 en-suite bedrooms and a family suite, available to guests. We also offer a self contained Studio in the grounds of the hall.

Situated in the heart of Suffolk, close to Bury St Edmunds, with 6 acres of tranquil woods, streams and gardens. West Stow Hall is a perfect place for relaxing after exploring the lovely towns and villages of Suffolk and Norfolk.


Lackford Lakeswildlife-trust-centre

Lackford Lakes lie beside the River Lark and have been created from former gravel pits. Lackford lakes is a wonderfully diverse reserve with meadows, woodland, reed beds and streams. Lackford Lakes Visitor Centre is open from Wed-Sun and bank holidays - 10am to 4pm 1st November to 31st March and 10am to 5pm 1st April to 31st October.  The reserve and hide network are open dawn to dusk every day.  www.suffolkwildlifetrust.org
